About

Tito (Annunziato) Mangiola was born in San Lorenzo, Reggio Calabria, on February 3, 1949.
He graduated from the Mattia Preti Art Academy in Reggio di Calabria in 1968.  He has participated in a number of art exhibitions and has attended major cultural and artistic events.  Tito has been painting since 1963 and since 1966 has participated in thirty-seven Juried exhibitions and has achieved the following honors: 11 First-Place; 11 Second Place; 6 Third Place and 9 others.  He’s done twenty-two one man shows and forty collective exhibits around the world.  His works are found in Museums and in public and private collections.

In 1997, he became United States Resident with approval notice Section: Alien of Extraordinary Ability.

In 2006,  Tito became a United States Citizen.

Between  1998 & 2003, collaborated as a teacher and mentor for the Caring Foundation, Inc. (Giving children Arts, Resources and Education)

Since 2003 , he is teaching Art  classes (oil painting, watercolor, mosaic painting, drawing, clay sculpture) at Wellington High School and Royal Palm High School – Community School  Classes. 

In  2007,  Tito Mangiola met with former President Jimmy Carter in Plains, Georgia.  At this occasion, he donated a Limited Edition lithograph titled “The Excluded World”.
